Order and Lab Management

Lab orders, radiology tests, and in-house procedures are issued, tracked, and reconciled with SRS Order Manager to decrease paperwork dramatically and give the practice control over the entire test-order process. Practices can interface with reference labs, hospital labs, in-house lab systems, and PACS systems to receive results in real time.

Lab Trending

Lab results can be printed, reviewed, and compared over time, allowing practices to review and identify lab trends. The system allows for prescription data to be taken into account. Computerized physician order entry (CPOE) also allows practices to create, print, file, and track orders electronically. The rules engine accurately routes normal, abnormal, and preliminary lab results.

Lab Connectivity

Bi-directional lab connections are routed through one HL7-compliant resource (clearinghouse). Order forms are pre-built and include each lab’s full test menu. Lab results are automatically filed in the correct patient chart, and full integration with the Messaging and Tasking feature ensures that results—along with the patient chart—appear in the physician’s inbox and a notification is sent to the physician and ancillary staff when results are ready for review and digital signature.
